| I love how some lady says something kinda disparaging about Obama and everyone freaks out like "OMG racist!" but all the big news channels break down election results comparing black voting trends to white voting trends. Nice job guys. |
Seriously! As a Hillary supporter I hate to put myself out there at risk for being called another one of those whiners who are saying the press is unfair to Hillary Clinton...but come on...last night, ALL of the major cable news stations were alternating headlines of "Blacks vote for Obama 9 to 1" and "Obama camp calls for Clinton supporter to step down after racially offensive remarks". Crazy stuff. *Despite the fact that this "some lady" you speak of was the former democratic vice presidential nominee in 1984...the only woman in history to date to be on a national ticket during a presidential election.

I know...and what she said wasn't really off the mark. The lack of a white guy in the democratic race *IS* bringing out a lot of people that otherwise wouldn't vote. This election was beautiful for like, two weeks and now it's typical cut throat political bullshit. George Bush might as well be running again. |
